We're able and ready to propose you chartering or free fishing licensing in the fields of pelagc fishing by establishig a JV between our company and yours. We have the necessary supprt and a high level of contacts in the Mauritanian government. The Mauritanian government is strongly supporting this partnership concept and is favoring foreign companes (fiscal incitation) which could implement such a scheme in Mauritania.
Nowadays, we are looking forward to finding worldwide company which has interest in such activity. The partners shall have large freezer-trawlers with a length ranging from 70 to 140 meters. But he shall be reliable, efficient and ready to work in the Mauritanian waters.
There are different pelagic species that we can catch like Sardinella, Atlantic Horse mackerel, Mackerel, Anchovy, Sardine, Yellow mullet, Big eye, Yellow fin, Ocean bonito, Germon, Blue fin tuna... to name few. The target species in pelagic fishing are small pelagic fish which swim together in shoals closer to the surface and often travel over long distances in the ocean.
