During 2001 my husband, Michael, and I came back to South Africafrom Malawi as Michael had suffered very severely from Malaria.We had intended to retire in Malawi as we loved the lifestyle andhad always enjoyed living in various other African Countries.Moving back to South Africa was a major shock for me and my healthsuffered enormously, with Michael actually believing that I was aprime candidate for Alzheimer’s Dis-ease, as I was unable to focusand had complete areas of memory that seemed to have disappeared,and on many occasions he would find me passed out on the bathroomfloor.
