The Member of Elginkan Group, Elsan Hammadde Sanayii A.S wasestablished in Istanbul in 1969 as a foundry where brass castinghad been made. In 1971, ELSAN had started the production of brassrods. Elsan has increased the capacity by adding continuous castinglines in 1976. ELSAN activated its new facility in IndustrialOrganized Zone in Manisa in 1990 ELSAN, has kept its investments ondevelopments, activated the second continuous casting lines, whichis computerized, in order to increase the capacity of it in 1995.In 2000, ELSAN started the production of polishing quality BrassIngots Casting and investments on improvements still continue.ELSAN considers to increasing the productivity while continue toinvestments about improvement and automation.
