The original company specialized in importing wine and per* from France, as well as alcohol and *ettes from Singapore. The company also handled a wide range of household goods imported from Thailand. From humble beginnings, in 1998 DHG was able to diversify into other products and begin exploring opportunities for producing coffee, tea, agricultural products and industrial goods. Following success in these markets over the last ten years, 2008 saw the realization of new service industry businesses for hotel and food and beverage establishments. 2010 was a watershed year for the company as it signed international partnership agreements to grow, refine, and package its coffee through all production steps in-country for the first time. Increasing access to capital for further expansion will see 2011 as the year DHG joins the new Lao Securities Exchange and further raise the bar on international standard quality production for a Lao company.
