We have sold couple of vessel over couple ofyears till this very 2016. All vessels are working very well evenafter several years. I am in the Offshore Industry since 1978 andit is my passion to keep my vessels in a top a class condition atall times, with prompt periodic maintenance. The Vessel SAMRIYAHwas bought in the year 2013 for a price of US$ 833,000 and we havecarried out special survey after extensive repairs costing US$ 3.(Three Million). Everything on the ship was completely renewed andthe Vessel worked very well for the next three years. The VesselSAMRIYAH can accommodate 74 persons in its built-inaccommodation.(Including crew) Its hull steel was completelyrenewed at the Special Survey. The periodic dry docking wascompleted in July 2016 and we sailed the Vessel to the Red Sea fora long term contract of three years. While on anchor in theanchorage of Port Sudan, she ran over the reef and damagedpropeller, rudder and underwater hull. We brought the Vessel backto Dubai and carried out dry docking, where, the following workswere conducted at a cost of US$ 450,000/. The damages were veryminor and I could have run the Vessel 1. Underwater Hull SteelRenewal. 2. Both Propellers were repaired and polished. 3. RudderStock repaired. 4. Propeller bearings replaced, intermediate shaftwas repaired, gland packing was renewed. 5. Both Propeller shaftswere taken out, renewed. 6. Both Main Engines Repaired. 7. Gear Boxwas repaired 8. Port side Generator engine was replaced with newengine and generator repaired. 9. Standby deck Generator wasrepaired. 10. All toilet fitting were renewed. 11. Two x Watermakers fitted. And many other works, which were necessary. Allthese repair works were carried out at Dubai Dry Docks and we haveshipyards documents. The repair works took almost two months anddue to the delay I lost the long term job in Sudan. I am sellingthe Vessel only for this reason. If you have a job, this vesselwill work for a minimum period of three years, without any majorrepairs.
