Rich through Oil Palm

AgroMalaysia has left this blog since 2009. It is almost 2 years AgroMalaysia never updated the blog status.

'Rich through Agriculture' starts with current phenomenon ' Rich through Oil Palm'. Last writing, AgroMalaysia left the topic on stressing oil palm as a gold mine. The countries like Malaysia and Indonesia are very lucky situated in a region suitable with its weather for crop growing.

People are saying oil and gas are ' Black Gold' ,we define oil palm as ' Crop of Gold'. Due to current CPO (crude palm oil) price exxagerating from time to time (RM 3200-RM3500/MT) and also explosion of Bio-diesel industries, have boosted oil palm to become major crop among plantations and grower in the world.

Statistics have showed oil palms have production over 30 MT/hectare per year. Percetages of OER (oil extraction rate) has showed average 21-23%.

AgroMalaysia has enough experience and knowledge about oil palm. Successful of oil palm industries in Malaysia and Indonesia , or common sense thinking for other crops, surely start from what we call 'seed'.

Dura x Pisifera (DxP) is the type of seed commonly have been planted broadly in Malaysia and Indonesia. AgroMalaysia believes this type of seed is the best oil palm seed has been produced by Malaysia plantation sector and was utilized worldwide.
