The Lovasz Screw Manufacturing Plant is located at Szekesfehervar, a city directly connected to the Continental motorway network via the M7 motorway. It is approximately a 1-hour drive from Budapest, the capital city of Hungary. The plant has been operational since 2001 to meet the demand of Japanese-owned electronics plants for micro screws. Hungary has been a NATO member state since 1999 and an EU member state since 2004. Travel from Hungary to the UK is visa free.* Mr. Lovasz, the owner, has a postgraduate degree in manufacturing and engineering. He gained his manufacturing experience at the Ikarus Bus Factory, 1975-87.* From 1987-93 Mr Lovasz headed the Ikarus after sales service in Sheffield, UK, and gained a deep understanding of UK standards. He is fluent in English.* The facility is owner managed, which allows for immediate decision making and extra flexibility.
