Short introduction to the company
Dammix AS was founded in 1993. The company is active in the storing and marketing of high quality Nordic timber. In our more than 20 years of activity, we have acquired all of the equipment necessary for the cutting and initial processing of timber, and have trained a team of professionals.
In recent years, Dammix AS has focused mainly on quality and the smoothness of processes. The adoption of novel information technology tools, combined with active process management and documentation, allows us, at any given time, to obtain a comprehensive overview of the progress of storing timber and the origin of raw materials. Regarding the latter, the company has acquired a FSC Forest Management certificate, which is also the highest level of licensing available in the timber industry.
Long-term experience in the area of forestry and the appropriate administration of processes, make Dammix AS a desired partner for every processor and supplier of roundwood.
Main items
Dammix AS stores and markets high quality Nordic timber. The most important advantage of trees that have grown in a colder climate versus those from warmer areas is their higher relative density and greater weather durability. Products and structures manufactured using such wood are long-lasting and strong.
The company primarily offers the following types of timber to its cooperation partners:

- Silver Birch (Betula pendula)
- European Aspen (Populus tremula)
- European Alder (Alnus glutinosa)
- English Oak (Quercus robur)

Company goals
In 2016, Dammix AS has set the goal of expanding its international marketing network. The aim is to increase export volumes of quality timber to as much as 50% of the company's total turnover. The target markets for exports are Asia, Central-Europe and the Nordic countries.
Concerning the area of export activities, the most emphasis will be placed on the quality of materials and the smoothness of processes, in order to raise the awareness of partners concerning the excellent properties of Nordic timber and the company's extensive skills when it comes to managing processes.
