Aurora Edit was founded by a mother and daughter in response to what sometimes feels like a male dominated world. As women with experience within the publishing community, they both strongly feel the need for a feminine mind lending both technical and emotional support to upcoming writers, both female and male. Lesley McPherson graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She has experience editing within both the fiction and nonfiction realms. She does freelance writing, and has been honored with many awards for her work. Continuing her education, she remains in contact with past professors, and attends writing workshops.
